I will be attending a wedding at Disney world in early December. Reservations have been made for my stay at a Hotel on the grounds. Do I need to purchase a pass or something to gain access to and for my stay at the Hotel.

Hi Steve,

You won't need to purchase any type of additional pass. You can go to your hotel, visit the other hotels, and visit Downtown Disney free of charge.

Just so you know, there is an entertainment section next to Downtown Disney called Pleasure Island - during the day it is free to visit; however, after a certain time in the afternoon there is a charge.

If you intend on visiting a Disney theme park (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot or the Disney-MGM Studios) or a water park (Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon), then you will need to purchase an admission ticket. Otherwise, you don't need admission tickets.
